As a qualified accountant, professional mediator, and senior leadership mentor, I specialise in conflict resolution and helping senior leadership teams frame the direction of their organisations.
My mediation practice has an emphasis on Workplace, Commercial, and family mediation, with more than 85% of my cases coming from either repeat business or recommendations from satisfied clients.
Prior to establishing Bass Mediation, I operated at a senior management level with titles including Finance Director, and Head of Corporate Services with the responsibility for business functions including finance, HR, and IT for leading Irish indigenous and internationally recognised brands.
However, with three decades of professional experience on the clock, I began to realise that my career had become less about managing business processes, and more about resolving interpersonal differences in the workplace and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership teams.
Passionate about assisting people to overcome paralyzing conflict and having seen the power of such interventions and actions, I founded Bass Mediation with Jeremy with a mission of helping others to resolve their differences and plan for a brighter future through the process of mediation.
My vision is to create a practice that has a positive impact on people’s lives in a pragmatic way, adding genuine value and benefits to the processes of Mediation.
No mediation is for couples who have decided to separate and want to make agreements on their separation.
Yes. We use Zoom for our mediations which has proved very successful.
No, you will arrive at your own outcome together. Our role is to facilitate the conversation between you both and to follow the mediation process.
In most cases, the mediation is very successful (80-90% success rate). However, if mediation does not work all other routes for dispute resolution are open to you, and nothing that was said in mediation(subject to the Mediation Act 2017) can be used as it is a confidential process.
Yes, mediation is a voluntary process that all parties enter into freely.
Not necessarily however joint sessions can prove very productive.
We operate from three locations including Dublin 2, Dublin Airport/Swords, and Drogheda.
I used BASS Mediation for a dispute among our family concerning the care of my Dad and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We engaged the services of BASS Mediation to resolve a contract dispute to avoid lengthy and costly litigation. We were happy with the outcome and delighted to bring the matter to a close. We would recommend BASS Mediation to resolve any contract disputes and would use their services again in the future.
